Note
I just read your comments to WouterCX about his experiment. I hope you won't find my "experiment" not to make sense; I'm trying to use for a collaborative database design, basically. Take a look at http://www.dotnetinfluencers.org especially my ListOfLists page, and then drill down. An especially good one is the ListofPeriodicals ; edit the page to see how it is created and then drill down to see each periodical topic page. I personally think a wiki with a collaborative database feature merged in would provide some incredible power to design industry XML schemas in a manner simply impossible in the past. I hope after looking at it you can "get" what I'm trying to do and it does not feel too foreign to you. -- MikeSchinkel [2004.07.19]
Question
Do you know WikiTalk? I'm trying to figure out how to do a simple comparison. For example, take a look here at our ListOfToolVendors ; I'd like to list only the ones who ToolVendorStatus="Active", but try as I might I can't seem to figure out how to get WikiTalk to let me compare. I hope you know how? -- MikeSchinkel [2004.07.19]

Response
Wow, I in no way meant to be inappropriate. I've spent time on Wikipedia.com and the proper acknowledged way to communicate with someone was to edit their page, which is also how WouterCx requests people contact him here. I was actually trying to be less intrusive than sending you an email as to me getting an email would be more intrusive. But acknowledged and I hope you can understand I didn't mean to offend. As for starting discussion pages, please note I have been doing a lot of that lately with no response (and I'm stuck on this WikiTalk issue which is why I was asking); just search on "MikeSchinkel" to confirm. Please delete this once you've read. -- MikeSchinkel [2004.07.21]

Spammers Take Note

To whomever posted links here asking me not to delete them: you've got to be kidding, right? This is a page about me, and I don't really care to help you advertise for your business, particularly when you do it by obnoxiously adding a ton of links to this page. It's called "spam", and I bet you don't enjoy getting it either. You do realize that this is a privately run website, right? The fact that we let anyone edit it doesn't mean that the policy is to leave commercial links in place. If you post your links again, they will be removed again.
