• In theory, yes. However, in practice this is probably a bad idea. After all, the date and author is not relevant in all contexts. I believe that the ability to diff between two arbitrary revisions would actually be much more helpful, and would enable most of the scenarios where automatic date tagging would be handy. • Agreed. However, I don't see an easy way for the wiki itself to automatically tell when a date should be added and when it should not. Because there are at least as many cases where it should not, then there's a problem with always adding it. Frankly, I think the wiki sucks for discussions anyway - an archived mailing list is superior in just about every respect. Am I being dumn or is this not very well explained?

A: Yes, like that, but after you do that, you see how it's underlined like WikiSignature here? You then click on that underlined link, and your homepage is created. You create a topic called "Summary:" and enter a short description of yourself. After you create your home page when you add your Signature (your name, and date) you'll have a signature like this -- WayneDawson [2004-07-25].

Q. Apparently if you add your signature at the very bottom of the page, the popup box does not appear...or at least it didnt for me.
